Typing with Voice Output

A software program that allows the user to hear what they type can be valuable in many ways.

The student can hear any grammatical mistakes as they are being made.
It helps to remind the student to add punctuation (many will not speak until punctuation is placed).
Some programs offer the ability to hear each letter as it is typed and then it will read the word when completed. This benefits early literacy skills.
