Voice Output Device with Picture Icons/Overlays

Voice output devices with picture icons/overlays are communication devices that use either individual printed pictures/symbols or one overlay containing all pictures/symbols that can be placed in the device.  Each communication cell must be recorded with the desired communication message.

Overlays are used to provide a physical barrier between each communication cell.  This creates a stronger cognitive connection and reduces inadvertent activations.
